Welcome to Meghalaya, the “Abode of Clouds”! Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station/Bus Station, set out on a scenic drive to Cherrapunjee, famed for its misty cliffs and abundant waterfalls. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of your day at leisure. You can head out and explore the famous Arwah Caves with their ancient fossils or witness the grandeur of Seven Sisters Falls, or admire the plunging beauty of Nohkalikai, India’s tallest plunge waterfall.

Today, get driven to Tyrna village, the gateway to the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge trek. Once there, descend through dense forests, crystal-clear streams, and traditional Khasi hamlets as you make your way to this centuries-old marvel. Once there, marvel at the iconic bridge formed by interwoven rubber tree roots and perfected over generations, standing as a rare feat of natural bioengineering. Also, you can visit the stunning Rainbow Falls before trekking back to Tyrna.

After checkout, get driven to Dawki, stopping en route at Mawlynnong, known as the ‘Cleanest Village in Asia.’ Once in Mawlynnog, stroll through its neat lanes. Next, trek to the Single Decker Living Root Bridge at Riwai, and marvel at the intriguing Balancing Rock. Continue to Dawki and check in at your hotel. Later, get driven to the crystal-clear Umngot River, considered one of India’s cleanest. Here, enjoy a serene boat ride that lets you witness the riverbed visible beneath the waters.
