The distance from Ahmedabad to Patan is around 125 km, and it usually takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to reach by road. Travelers can depart from Ahmedabad early in the morning around 07:00 AM and arrive in Patan by 09:30–10:00 AM. After arrival, visit the famous Rani Ki Vav, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its magnificent stepwell architecture and intricate carvings, where visitors generally spend about 1 to 1.5 hours exploring and taking photographs. Later continue to Patan Patola Heritage to see the traditional Patola silk weaving process, which usually takes around 30 to 45 minutes. Visitors can also spend some time exploring the local market or nearby temples. Overall, Patan sightseeing generally takes about 2.5 to 3 hours.

After completing sightseeing in Patan, begin the return journey in the evening via Mehsana. The distance from Patan to Mehsana is around 35 km, which takes approximately 40–45 minutes by road. From Mehsana, continue the drive towards Ahmedabad, covering a distance of about 75 km in roughly 1.5 hours. This comfortable return route allows travelers to relax after a day of heritage sightseeing, and you can expect to arrive back in Ahmedabad by around 7:30–8:00 PM, marking the end of the one-day trip.
